Summer school is in session.
Join us every Friday at 6pm for an educational, guided tasting in our intimate whiskey cellar.
Whether you are a novice or an expert collector, this weekly series offers an insightful and engaging look into the craft, history, and art of whisky making.
Led by Jack Rose Whiskey Advisor, Christian Taylor, each class features five thoughtfully selected whiskies that complement the class theme, along with a welcome cocktail and light bites.
Sessions wrap promptly at 7:30 PM, leaving plenty of time to continue the evening with dinner in the Saloon.

Uncertification: The Anthropology and Development of Mexican Spirits
Join us for a three course seminar as we delve deep into the diverse world of Mexican spirits, covering how ancestral communities and techniques are navigating legislation and international markets. Maya Lalouani, Mid-Atlantic Brand Ambassador for 5 Sentidos, and Dee Jones, Brand Manager from Seelbach's, will join our Lead Whisk(e)y Advisor Chris Leung in hosting.
We'll ground ourselves in the history of the space and how production has evolved, then move onto tasting, cocktailing, and how we interface with spirits as consumers.
Lunch will be provided, with a Happy Hour featuring Rums of Mexico, Alambique Serrano, 5 Sentidos and Seelbach's, following the event.

ICYMI: New Bourbon Releases
We're back with another "In Case You Missed It" tasting, featuring some of the most talked-about bourbon releases of 2026.
From recently released single barrels like Willett "Winter Break", to exciting expansions of household names such as Eagle Rare 12yr and King of Kentucky Small Batch, to the first release a brand new annual limited release series, Austin Nichols Archives Collection "Gold Foil," this tasting is an exciting opportunity to taste the most buzzworthy bourbon releases of the year side-by-side.
The tasting will be led by Jack Rose owner Bill Thomas. With his wealth of knowledge, Bill will guide guests through each release, exploring what makes these bottles special and how they compare to the legendary whiskies that came before them.

Vintage Bourbon Tasting with Sam Medley
Join us for a taste of the past with Sam Medley
Sam comes from one of Kentucky’s historic distilling families and currently serves as President and Co-Owner at Charles Medley Distillery.
In 1976, the Medley Distilling Company of Owensboro, KY, released a limited edition bourbon to commemorate the Bicentennial of the United States, "Medley Bourbon USA".
The whiskey was bottled in a commemorative glass "banjo bottle," a signature Medley bottle design of the era. Labeled as eight years old, the bourbon was distilled no later than 1968.
Recently, Sam discovered a partial case of this rare release and is traveling across the country during America's 250th anniversary celebration to give Medley fans a taste of the piece of history.
In addition the the Bicentennial Medley Bourbon USA bottling, guests will enjoy vintage finds from the Jack Rose collection along with current Medley offerings including Wathen's Barrel Proof Single Barrels, Medley Bros, 102, Wathen's 94 Proof, and more.
Featured cocktails and hors d'oeuvres are included.

Maker's Mark Star Hill 2026 with Master Distiller Dr. Blake Layfield
Join us in the Saloon for an exclusive first taste of the highly anticipated 2026 release of Maker's Mark Star Hill Farm Whisky, hosted by Maker's Mark Diplomat Kentha Stephens and Master Distiller Dr. Blake Layfield.
Star Hill Farm Whisky represents the first new mash bill and first wheat whisky introduced by Maker's Mark in more than 70 years. The 2026 release is a cask-strength blend of seven- and eight-year-old whiskies crafted from two mash bills: one made entirely of malted wheat and another composed of 70% wheat and 30% malted barley.
"The first release of Star Hill Farm Whisky was bright, approachable and straightforward; this year we've dialed up the complexity," said Dr. Blake Layfield, master distiller at Maker's Mark. "
The final blend—27% wheat, 62% malted wheat and 11% malted barley—delivers a darker, more layered aromatic profile, with a rounder structure and amplified fruit notes compared to that of 2025.
