Hosted by Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington and 200+ participating eateries across the city, Winter Restaurant Week is a great way to try some of our favorite menu items at discounted pricing.
This year, we’ll be featuring a $55 three-course dinner that includes options like spicy fried oysters , red snapper and grits, mushroom truffle pasta, and more!

Burns Night with the Scotch Malt Whisky Society
Join The Scotch Malt Whisky Society for a special night of rare single malts, live music, and poetry as we celebrate Soctland's favorite son, Robert Burns (1759-1796). We will be tasting a curated selection of Society casks, including our Burns Night US exclusive bottling, to be paired with Burns-inspired passed hors d'oeuvres. Guests will be regaled with Burns prose and Highland song as musical guest Elias Alexander and Burns bard Jason Waddleton join us for an unforgettable evening!
Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, The Scotch Malt Whisky Society is the world’s largest whisky club of whisky lovers. More than just a club, the Society is known for offering the finest expression of Scotch whisky produced today. It acquires exceptional whisky casks from distilleries across Scotland and beyond. Each cask is then bottled and offered exclusively to its community of members through the Society’s online shop smwsa.com.
While Society whisky is available for purchase by members only, this event is open to anyone eager to taste and learn in the company of fellow whisky lovers.

There’s no better place to celebrate the abolition of the booze-prohibiting 18th Amendment than a place with the largest selection of whiskey in the Western hemisphere. Jack Rose Dining Saloon is celebrating the day alcohol was made legal once again with its 11th Annual Repeal Day Celebration on Thursday, December 5th complete with Prohibition-era cocktails, Champagne specials, live burlesque, dinner, and a special $12.05 priced Jack Rose Single Barrel Hour.
The free-to-attend, open-to-the-public celebration will start off with a special Jack Rose Single Barrel Hour from 5-7:30pm, featuring pours of our favorite house single barrels priced at $12.05 (to commemorate the December 5th holiday).
Other specials will be available from 5pm -10pm, including $50 bottles of featured Champagne,$13 classic Prohibition-era cocktails, $3 Oysters Rockefeller.

Kilchoman Batch Strength US Tour Stop
Join James Wills of the Wills Family (founders of Kilchoman), on the DC stop of Kilchoman’s Batch Strength US Tour! The tour celebrates the official launch of Kilchoman Batch Strength in the US.
This new core range expression was matured in a combination of re-charred red wine casks, oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels, a few drops of water were added post maturation to produce a Batch Strength of 57% vol.

The 5th Annual “Premier Drams” Tasting Festival takes place on Sunday, October 13 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. between Jack Rose Dining Saloon (2007 18th St. NW) and The Imperial (2001 18th St. NW).

Celebrate National Bourbon Heritage Month with one of our Sunday tastings!
We’ll be featuring classic Kentucky distilleries Wild Turkey, Old Forester, and Buffalo Trace. Revisit some of the well-known favorite expressions, as well as limited releases and new single barrels.
WHISKEY CLASS: Maturation
Jack Rose Lead Whiskey Advisor Chris Leung will lead guests through a tasting of whiskey expressions that specifically showcase interesting aspects of rick house climates, oak speciation, maturation in sherry casks and more.
Limited to only a small group of guests, there will plenty of opportunity for Q&As and exchanges of thoughts and tasting notes.
Jack Rose x Charity Barrel Penelope Single Barrel Fundraiser
Jack Rose Dining Saloon & Charity Barrel have teamed up again to support a local non-profit, So What Else. Their organization’s mission is to ensure no child in our DC & Maryland community experiences hunger and has access to meaningful opportunities to learn and grow outside of the school day.
Together, we selected a one-of-a-kind Penelope Single Barrel Bourbon that is made up of 99% corn and 1% malted barley. It is aged 10 years 6 months and bottled at 113 proof.
